Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition Health Services, the Executive Recruiter is responsible for managing and leading the full-cycle recruitment process for director-level and above positions across the organization. The Executive Recruiter will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, senior leaders, and chiefs, assisting in developing and implementing hiring strategies that directly support IEHP’s business and strategic goals. The incumbent will be expected to identify and engage high-caliber candidates who not only bring the strategic capability needed to support IEHP’s goals, but also reflect and enhance the organization’s mission-driven culture. This position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as HR Business Partners, Compensation, and senior leaders, to deliver tailored recruitment strategies, provide market insights, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact to final offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for Director-level and above positions, including physician and clinical leaders.
  • Partner with senior executives and HR business partners to deeply understand workforce needs, define ideal candidate profiles, and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders, providing guidance, market insights, and influence throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide a high touch, highly personalized and attentive candidate experience while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism throughout the process.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies, including passive outreach, referrals, and networking, to identify and attract top-tier executive talent.
  • Facilitate high-level intake meetings, advise on job descriptions, compensation insights, and hiring timelines.
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates with thoughtful summaries and recommendations.
  • Coordinate executive interviews, debrief sessions, and selection processes, while managing expectations and communications with discretion.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline even during periods of low requisition volume, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives as needed.
  • Represent the organization with executive candidates and external partners; promote our mission, leadership, and strategic direction with clarity and credibility.
  • Lead compensation negotiations and close candidates in collaboration with HR and hiring executives; ensure alignment between candidate expectations and organizational capacity.
  • Track, report, and analyze recruitment metrics to inform and improve executive recruitment strategies.
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
  • Qualifications

    Education & Requirements 

    • Seven (7) years of experience in executive search, talent sourcing, or executive recruitment, with a strong focus on identifying and engaging senior-level/executive talent required
    • Experience developing and negotiating job offers
    • Experience preferably within healthcare, managed care, or a similarly complex industry
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
      • In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position
      • This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.
