Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Exchange Engineer to join our team and support the operation, maintenance, and evolution of our Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises 2019 environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering experience, a proactive mindset, and a passion for automation and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd level support for M365 Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem 2019 in a production environment.
• Lead and support migration projects from on-premises Exchange to cloud-based M365.
• Handle M365 service tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Operate and support mail services and Azure production environments.
• Maintain and automate M365 services within the DTAG ecosystem.
• Implement and monitor end-to-end service health and performance.
• Participate in on-call service rotations to ensure 24/7 operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Manage incident workflows via ServiceNow and Jira.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in a similar role, including Exchange 2013/2016/2019
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (Online and On-Prem)
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, C#, and Python
• Solid understanding of Azure infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in Windows system administration
• Experience with E2E monitoring, incident management, and automation
• English language knowledge (B2 or higher), German is an advantage
• Hybrid work model: at least 1 day/week in our Budapest/Debrecen/Szeged office
