Energy Management Retail Services is seeking an EP (entry-level) Associate to support the gas-side retail access and transportation programs that serve Gas Marketers, interruptible/off peak firm customers, and power generation customers. This role is highly analytical and operations-facing: it combines recurring reporting for Accounting, data integrity across gas systems, support for interruption communications and compliance tracking, and participation in system enhancement initiatives such as RAMP UAT and TCIS enhancements.
Core Responsibilities- Support recurring monthly gas reports and workbooks provided to Accounting and internal stakeholders (compile inputs, validate data, publish outputs).
- Maintain daily and monthly interruptible gas usage data used to reconcile sendout/sales forecasting activities.
- Assist with analysis of long term supply/demand trends and economic comparisons of pipeline and storage capacity options.
- Support development of monthly interruptible pricing (including SC 12 Rate 2 pricing support) by maintaining inputs, validating calculations, and preparing communications/materials.
- Help manage the accuracy, integrity, and uniformity of customer/program data across TCIS, GDO, FIS, CCB, and MDMS (including reconciliations, issue identification, and follow ups).
- Support operational onboarding activities such as TCIS registration and access coordination for systems used by the team.
- Support interruptible operational coordination activities such as gate station allocation requests and tracking (prepare request packages, distribute, maintain logs).
- Support interruption execution activities, including initiating/assisting with use of the Mass Notification System during interruption events and tracking customer compliance artifacts.
- Maintain and update interruption/non compliance tracking files (e.g., case numbers, addresses, and supporting details).
- Assist with drafting/updating control documents and guidelines supporting retail gas operations.
- Communicate with Gas Marketers and Power Generation customers on routine matters (data requests, operational updates, coordination), escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Participate in UAT testing and evidence capture (screenshots, results write ups) for retail/gas system enhancements, and support ongoing phases of IT related testing work.
- Bachelor's Degree and Minimum one year work experience OR six months of Con Edison co-op/Internship experience or
- Master's Degree and Minimum one year work experience OR six months of Con Edison co-op/Internship experience
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is required.
- Strong Excel skills (building and troubleshooting worksheets; working with structured datasets) is required.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholder is required.
- Comfort creating and presenting basic PowerPoint updates is required.

- Ability to read small print and symbols
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
