Production Scheduler

Description

Summary: 

The Production Scheduler plans, schedules products through the complete production cycle. Must be familiar with manufacturing scheduling specifically in batch making. A self-motivated person with good customer services skills, good business acumen and professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Works with the Manufacturing Manager to provide timely scheduling of manufacturing batch orders to the production floor, in order to achieve production goals and customer deliver targets.
• Create and deliver daily, weekly production schedule, by processing line and shift to meet customer and order demand.
• Determine product schedule sequencing to ensure product compatibility, quality and maximize efficiency in production. 
• Balance incoming orders with current capacity and evaluate backlog when needed. 

Requirements

Requirement and Qualifications preference:

• 2-3 years in production scheduling 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English. 
• Knowledge of Batch Manufacturing is required. 
• Knowledge of raw materials, quality controls, product compatibilities.

This role will also have additional responsibilities to support cycle counting, Annual inventory activities and support were directed by management.
