Compensation includes a base salary of $59,600.00 - $89,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sales Incentives Analyst II to support our Sales teams with sales compensation plan administration, analysis, and reporting. Candidates must have strong technical, analytic, and problem-solving abilities. This person must ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced team environment and have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels. This individual will report to the Manager, Sales Incentives. This is a critical support role which supports front-line sales teams and sales support teams within Cox Automotive.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer Commissions

  • Develop and administer commission models via Excel and Xactly

  • Collect data from various sources, databases, and departmental resources in order to calculate monthly commissions

  • Calculate and process sales commission payments ensuring compliance with compensation plans and with federal and state applicable laws

  • Field questions concerning commissions payments made to the field and resolve any commission payout disputes

  • Manage and calculate spiffs for contests or special sales incentives

  • Partner with Xactly Technical Account Manager on tool maintenance, enhancements, and updates

  • Manage monthly pay and performance reporting for each sales team to ensure accuracy and completeness for analytics reporting, compensation design and President’s Club calculations

  • May perform other initiatives as assigned by department leadership

Who You Are 

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field (finance, accounting, sales operations). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field

  • Demonstrated success in a sales-driven environment

  • Experience with sales incentive compensation and a sales organization

  • Strong qualitative and analytical skills including manipulating data, querying, and reporting. Includes ability to analyze and research data and partner with appropriate internal resources

  • Ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external business customers at all levels to include executive level management

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data privacy

  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot gables, v-lookups, and other advanced functions). Solid knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook,
