Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Fighter/Attack Aircrew Training Specialist to support Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance\Phantom Works, Air Proprietary 1 (AP1) Program. We are seeking a highly skilled Fighter/Attack Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience in high-performance 4th and/or 5th generation fighter aircraft. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative technical learning solutions tailored for air crews. This role requires a deep understanding of complex aircrew learning objectives, course structure, content, and methodologies. This SME will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective learning solutions to meet customer aircrew training requirements, instructing advanced training courses, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs based on customer feedback and operational outcomes.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options:

Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of technical learning solutions for aircrew training, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and industry standards.
Assess complex aircrew learning objectives and provide recommendations on course structure, content, and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness.
Develop and maintain comprehensive learning solutions that meet aircrew training requirements, utilizing a variety of modalities, media, and training devices.
Instruct complex training courses, employ innovative teaching techniques to engage learners and facilitate knowledge retention.
Plan, develop, and conduct rigorous testing of training devices to validate functionality against expected operational and training outcomes.
Evaluate aircrew training effectiveness through data analysis and customer feedback, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training solutions are integrated with operational needs and organizational goals.
Security Clearance: An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Aviation Experience: Extensive operational experience in 4th and/or 5th generation aircraft within the last 5 years, with appropriate experience as Wingman, Element Lead, Flight Lead, Instructor Pilot, Weapons System Operator, Flight Examiner, Mission Commander or Pilot in Command
Aviation Knowledge: Strong understanding of current aviation and weapons systems, including navigation, avionics, and troubleshooting.
Instructional Expertise: Proven ability to design and deliver effective aircrew training programs using various instructional techniques and modalities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs and operational requirements.
Safety Awareness: Strong awareness of safety standards and practices, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Flight Instruction Techniques: Familiarity with effective flight instruction methodologies/assessment techniques and AETC experience as a SUPT or IFF instructor pilot.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of crew resource management, flight planning, and industry regulations, along with advanced pilot aviation skills.
Course Development: Experience in developing comprehensive training materials, including syllabus development, lesson plans and multimedia resources.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
