GENERAL SUMMARY

The 340B Assistant Manager works under the supervision of the Manager of the 340B Program. The 340B Assistant Manager’s primary job function is to support the oversight, coordination, and daily management of SOMC’s 340B Drug Pricing Program. This position ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, accurate reporting, and effective operations across all covered entities and pharmacy relationships. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Pharmacy related field or equivalent experience required

Licensure:

• None

Experience:

• Knowledge of health care accounting, finance and reimbursement principles required

• Prior Pharmacy work related experience preferred

• Prior 340B program experience preferred

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The following is a summary of the major job duties of this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1. Assists the manager in supporting the daily administration and compliance of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

2. Assists the manger in reviewing the Medicare Cost Report (MCR) annually and maintains an updated HRSA registration crosswalk.

3. Assists the manager in Ensuring ongoing compliance across all covered entities, in-house, retail, and contract pharmacies.

4. Assists the manager in reporting requirements to state Medicaid agencies.

5. Assists the manager in Coordinates and supports manufacturer, external auditors, and HRSA audits.

6. Assists the manager in Collaborating with internal teams and pharmacy partners to maintain program integrity and efficiency.
