Tire Tracks - Morris, a full-service auto-repair shop serving the local and surrounding Morris communities, is looking for a solid Automotive Technician with outstanding automotive repair & maintenance skills who is willing to grow with our team. Expect to stay challenged with a wide range of vehicles and complex jobs, while working with a great group of highly motivated and dedicated teammates.

EARN: $28 - $33/HR - Flat Rate w/ Accelerators & Bi-weekly guarantee! (Average Annual Income $54,600 - $89,440)

B Technician Flat Rate Pay Plan:  $28 - $33/HR Base Flat Rate: Paid flat rate for every hour billed (no overtime).

• PLUS EARN an additional $4/HR - $8/HR with Tiered Billed Hours Accelerators. 

1. When a B Tech bills 60-69.99 in a pay period, you earn an additional $4/HR
2. When a B Tech bills 70-79.99 in a pay period, you earn an additional $6/HR 
3. When a B Tech bills 80+ hours in a pay period, you earn an additional $8/HR

*The accelerators are retro to the first hour worked.

• 65 hour base rate bi-weekly guarantee. Tech must clock at least 80 hours in the pay period to receive the guarantee.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose and perform steering, suspension & alignment services.
• Strong ability to diagnose and perform heating & cooling services.
• Some ability to diagnose and repair electrical related issues.
• Some ability to diagnose and repair engine related issues.
• Previous experience and/or working knowledge of digital vehicle inspections.
• Have your own tools and a valid driver's license.
• Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude.
