Job Summary:

The Sanitation team member will be responsible for ensuring that the production areas are cleaned and sanitized to meet company standards. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Safely disassembles and assembles equipment for proper cleaning, set-up line equipment prior to production run. 
Safely operates equipment and machines used in the cleaning and sanitation process. 
Follows the Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Quality Plans. 
Performs cleaning procedures required by the Master Sanitation Schedule and other required duties to maintain assigned areas sanitary and clean. 
Perform general janitorial duties as needed. 
Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety and GMP. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must be able to follow instructions. 

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma
HAACP certification preferred but not required. 
SQF certification preferred but not required. 

Physical Requirements: 

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.  
Must be able to walk on wet floors.
