The Work You Will Do
Works with Agency staff (stakeholders) to determine business needs that require an IT solution including but not limited to development of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Formulates and reviews plans outlining steps required to develop programs to meet staff and user requirements.
Devises flow charts and/or diagrams to illustrate steps and to describe logical operational steps of programs and systems.
Develops and maintains project documentation in accord with F.S., F.A.C, and APD Policies & Procedures and IT PMO. This includes use of approved templates.
Writes and revises program and system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
Analyzes and tests computer programs or systems to identify errors and ensure conformance to standards.
Provides input in the development and updating of the project schedule.
Liaises between stakeholders and developers.
Assists with the development of training material and trains staff and users to use computer systems and applications.
Assist with resolution of computer related problems such as defects or malfunctions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
