This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Bloomington, IL office location.
The contributions you will make:
This position provides leadership to Client Service team members who are responsible for delivering high quality client service to support the effective delivery of credit and financial products and services to current and prospective clients. The incumbent directly manages all team members within the assigned areas of responsibility.
A typical day:
Leadership
- Champions the brand; serves as a role-model for the vision, mission and values of the organization. Supports Compeer’s strategic imperatives.
- Aids in establishing and developing guidelines to ensure the team provides a consistent quality level of service, which is timely, thorough and responsive to all clients.
- Hires, develops, motivates, coaches, evaluates, trains and rewards department team members.
- Provides clear and timely communication and feedback to all team members on expectations and goals.
- Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.
- Assists leadership in defining team’s goals.
- Monitors progress toward goals and objectives for areas of responsibility.
- Collaborates, partners and works closely with others to develop, nurture and service all aspects of the team relationship model within assigned area of expertise.
- Determines the impact of proposed operational and organizational changes and develops plans for optimizing efficiency and coordination of activity with other departments and functions within Compeer.
- Advocates and initiates change to department policies and procedures to improve productivity and client satisfaction.
- Empowers the team to be decision makers within their role and use critical thinking skills to support the organization and clients.
- Manages change with direct reports and may also influence change with others outside the team.
- Works on various projects as needed.
Team Management
- Provides direction to the team on various related services to serve internal and external clients and third parties.
- Coordinates and designates tasks to ensure reconciliation, reporting, corrections/adjustments are performed. Monitors team specific reports.
