As the Accounting/Business Manager you will report to the General Manager and Board Treasurer and play a critical role in managing all accounting and financial operations ensuring the organization’s financial stability. 

Key Responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting function and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth financial operations and support overall organization success. 
• Manage A/P, A/R, payroll, and G/L activities. 
• Prepare, analyze, and manage budgets, financial statements, and forecasts. 
• Collaborate with the management team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Develop and execute plans to optimize the organization’s profitability and long-term success.
• Coordinate duties related to HR administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience. 
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, experience in a managerial or leadership capacity a plus. 
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial processes, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. 
• Proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
