Sr. Manager, Program and Project Management

The Network Strategy and Planning team is responsible for strategic planning, portfolio oversight, and leadership support across the Network and Provider Partnerships department. The Sr. Manager will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and Performance. In this role you will lead the refreshed Network Governance cycle, support Strategic Planning for the Network department, and function as a business driver for strategic projects. Your Work 

In this role, you will: 

• Support Network Governance by working with cross-functional teams to prepare analytics, develop recommendations, lead the creation of governance artifacts, and support the Governance committee and subcommittees in reaching critical decisions and strategic alignment. 
• Develop Line of business-level and regional strategic roadmaps to optimize BSC Networks to meet LOB needs. Work with peer partners in product, actuary and each line of business team to inform roadmap development. 
• Serve as Business Driver for Network strategic and operational initiatives to deliver measurable outcomes in affordability, quality and growth. 
• Lead a team of program managers and/or coordinators to provide support to Governance & Strategy activities, and support additional Strategic Planning and Performance team needs. Provide oversight to matrixed and contracted resources as needed. 
• Work closely with the planning community to ensure all initiatives and work is prioritized and aligned to our larger strategic value streams

Your Knowledge and Experience 

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Health strongly preferred
• Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in program and project management and/or strategic planning
• Minimum 4 years direct people leadership experience required
• Health plan experience required
• Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and deliver results in a matrixed environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to drive complex projects and processes independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor communication to the audience from frontline teams to senior executives
