***Le poste étant situé aux États-Unis, la description de poste est disponible uniquement en anglais.*** ***As this position in based in the United States, the job description is available in English only.***   ________________________________________Box Office Staff – BMG Orlando  Box Office On-Call Position   Blue Man Group Orlando is looking for Box Office Staff for the new production at ICON Park in Orlando, FL.   Your Role This role is for an outgoing and charismatic team player who can provide world-class customer service, maintain up to date knowledge of pricing, availability, and seating options, and share the story of Blue Man Group with guests. Requiring a detail-oriented and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities for cross-departmental support as management may deem necessary from time to time. The workplace environment can include the main theater, remote kiosks, and field/satellite locations when necessary.   -      Greet guests with a polite and friendly manner exemplifying a high standard of customer service and hospitality; -      Process ticket sales and upsells, ensuring prompt and courteous service to all guests; -      Assist with ADA requests, ticketing problems, Will Call, and bookings required by partners and groups; -      Utilize and balance a cash drawer and ticket sales with various tender types; -      Provide educated answers to guest questions and be able to provide detailed information regarding BMG show details and general information about the neighborhood (parking, directions, restaurants, etc); -      Resolve guest issues within scope of authority and escalate ticketing problems or customer service issues to a supervisor as necessary; -      Maintain a neat, positive, and safe work environment and a clean and presentable demeanor based on BMG’s appearance policy; -      Assist with late seating and emergency situations, including evacuations when necessary.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. -      Previous customer service experience in a ticketing, live entertainment, or similar work environment; -      Knowledge of Outbox Ticketing System or other similar ticketing platform; -      Possess the ability to learn ticketing software and retain a high level of complex information with strong attention to detail; -      Comfort working fast and efficiently in a high-energy loud environment; -      Knowledge of first aid AED and CPR is a plus; -      Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages, particularly Spanish and Portuguese are an asset; -      Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; -      Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training; -      Ability to perform the essential functions of the job including, but not limited to: climbing, crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, sometimes for extended amounts of time; lifting at least 50lbs, working with limited to no visibility. Ability to occasionally work outside in varied temperatures and conditions as well as varied light conditions and flashing lights. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions; -      Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization.   This is an On-Call hourly position, eligible for overtime and 401K. The compensation is location-specific, and compensation in other geographies may vary. Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided upon elements related, but not limited to: skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
