General Manager
The Pier 5 in Baltimore is looking for a General Manager to join their team. Right in the beautiful Baltimore Harbor, this beautiful 66 room property, has lots to offer and is looking for a professional and hospitable leader, just like YOU!
As the General Manager for the hotel, you will need to have a deep understanding of hotel operations and be able to deliver superior results to our guests, our associates and our owners. You are the leader, the CEO, of the hotel and as such we look to you to ensure that our guests are well taken care of by training nurturing and motivating your staff.

This role requires at least 3-5 years of progressive experience in senior management hotel roles.
Prior General Manager Experience is a Must! Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent college course/work experience, high school diploma required. Strong background in hotel operations and Food & Beverage. Ability to process and work with financials, P&L and organizing reports for ownership & Corporate. Proven success in managing a hotel operation, along with overseeing individuals, departments, controlling costs etc... Ability to process and resolve tough situations; ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of actions quickly and accurately. This job requires light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently - with a regular need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Long hours, many of which may be spent standing or walking, often required. This role will require the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach, while working under variable temperatures and noise levels, both outdoors and indoors, and around chemicals, fumes, odor hazards, dust and mite hazards.
