About the role

Regions Hospital is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Medical Staff Services department. 

Provide project/program management, performance improvement methods, system review, change management, and data analysis at an organization, department, process and individual level. Manage all aspects of major projects and programs in support of the goals of the Medical Executive Committee (MEC) Chief of Staff (COS) and the Medical Staff Services function. Provides expertise and facilitates development of standardized approaches to create project/program plans and definition of appropriate tools, methodologies and metrics to analyze and interpret data. Coach physician leaders and physician teams in the evaluation of clinical practice through development of measurement systems, Professional Practice Evaluation (PPE) processes (including peer review, OPPE and FPPE) and application of regulatory requirements. Identifies, selects and implements solutions and develops appropriate measurement to ensure implementation of programs and processes. Creates and presents project status updates to physician and executive leadership. Identifies and removes barriers to project/program success or escalates to leadership when appropriate. 

 Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required, preferably in business, nursing, operations management, health care, statistics or related disciplines

  • 3 years of professional work experience including project coordination, project management and/or process improvement

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Previous project management experience including phases of project development, management and execution utilizing performance improvement tools and methodologies.
