Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
- Setting standard costs of manufactured goods in ERP (SAP)
- Developing, updating and analyzing standard costs and standard margin
- Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
- Assist in establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
- Performing account reconciliations
- Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management
- Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
- Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data
- Assisting in the preparation of budget
- Performing monthly actual-budget variance analysis
- Assisting in the project accounting and working closely with the R&D Team
- Attending all quote and business case meetings, preparing all financial data for new business projects and working closely with the Sales Team
- Supporting other company accountant with invoicing and capital expenditure
- Budget control of Capital Expenditures
- Preparing weekly analysis on inventories
Education/Experience
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, speaking and writing
- Professional business communication skills, including emailing, financial reporting and other department documentation
- Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics
- Understanding and organizational accounting concepts
- Strong financial analysis skills
- In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- SAP or any other major ERP system experience (preferred)
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
