About the role

Responsibilities

OBXtek is staffing for a Site Security Inspection Lead to support the Department of State (DoS) Consular Affairs (CA) Bureau. The Site Security Inspection Lead is responsible for performing physical inspections of all CA contractor sites to ensure that the sites meet the DoS security guidelines and configuration guidelines.

Security site inspections are designed to be a cooperative, interactive process that is mutually beneficial to CA/CST and supported sites while maintaining compliance with Federal guidelines mandated by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), IRM, DS, and CA.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists the CA Security staff with conducting annual physical security reviews of all domestic contractor sites.
  • Assists new contractor sites, supporting CA, with the DoS security requirements.
  • Works with Diplomatic Security (DS) to conduct annual site inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Creating a Site Inspection Plan and Site Inspection Memo for approval once the site visit is completed.
  • Assist the OBXtek administrator with maintaining the security of the OBXtek site.
  • Assist the team with conducting Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for CA systems.

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or relevant field

 

Desired Certifications:

  • Security +
  • CASP and/or CISSP
  • ITIL, or other ITSM certifications

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience with Federal Government Facility Inspections.
  • Expertise in Physical Security best practices.
  • Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
  • Hands-on experience with computer patching and networking.
  • Knowledge of NIST’s Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Must be able to Travel to Contractor Facilities.
