First State Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated candidate to fill the role of Personal Lines Account Executive. The Personal Lines Account Executive will play a essential role on our team and be responsible for managing and servicing an existing book of business. That includes being aware of cross selling to existing clients based on their needs, as well as developing a strong prospect pipeline.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients while building relationships with clear effective communication
• Maintain confidentiality in all dealing with clients and within the agency

Accountability

• Deliver "Summary of Insurance" to producers and account manager on a timely basis (150 days prior to renewal)
• Submit claims on behalf of clients and follow up as needed to help expedite the claim process
• Responsible for the collection of accounts receivable

Initiative

• Identify opportunities to network, develop relationships and create a new business prospect pipeline
• Coordinate with other departments for soliciting additional coverage not carried by the agency
• Document all transactions, activities and communications in agency management system

Adaptability

• Analyze existing coverages, identify coverage gaps, lines of business, and provide solutions to the clients for unprotected or inadequately protected exposures
• Review and compare quotes from companies for accuracy and to determine the appropriate proposal for presentation

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must possess and maintain P&C Insurance License
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
• Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the position
• Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
• Must attend to continuing education to ensure industry knowledge advancement
• High school diploma/GED
