National Account Intern

As a National Account Intern, you will manage front room (planogram) and back room (flexogram) line reviews, and work collaboratively with Category Management & Business Insights to optimize new product as well as monthly GAP / Hero SKU placement.

Primary Duties:

• Assist Sales & Category Manager with execution of front and back room line reviews including:
  • Building POGs, creating internal/external PPTs, presenting to the customer, and follow up activities post close
• Assist in building monthly Gap recommendations at SKU level with guidance from BI
• Optimize sales by assisting in introducing new products and creating initial stocking suggestions for new items via collaboration with BI
• Facilitate monthly communication with customers on Hero SKU’s to achieve business goals
• Organize and analyze performance metrics with BI terminating in quarterly KPI reports
• Assist in developing external quarterly KPI summaries and presentations for AutoZone including
  • Reporting around “non-Hero” SKU gap opportunities to drive improved execution on “New” products
• Facilitate weekly Internal and External account meetings
  • Manage task tracker and reporting
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds.
• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.  Noise level is usually moderate.

 

Education or Experience:

• Working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• 3.0 GPA or higher in business, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.
