C# Software Engineer Team Lead

Position Summary
Are you looking for a place to put your innovative ideas to work? Bring your talent and experience to STERIS’ SPM Development team where you will be responsible for coaching and guiding a team of dedicated engineers in delivering innovative solutions to our customers.
As a hands-on leader, you’ll actively contribute to the development process by writing code and participating in the implementation of projects and facilitation of ceremonies.
Duties
Delivery
·Ensure software architecture, design, and interface specifications comply with business guidelines and can fulfill requirements set by the Business Analysts.
· Serves as a process champion for continued improvement in software design techniques.
· Delivery is critical, you will be releasing and iterating regularly in a fast-paced environment
· Provides design support for multiple projects at potentially multiple development sites.
Technical
· Propose solutions and define technical direction for future development efforts.
· Drive the use of appropriate design principles to ensure robust, maintainable software applications.
· Coordinate robust code reviews to ensure a high standard of software
· Investigate new software technologies and tools and appropriate application.
· Maintain an active individual contributor role within the team
Leadership
· Lead and mentor teams of dedicated engineers to build products in an iterative Agile environment.
· Be able to communicate across multiple stakeholders and peers whilst considering your audience to adjust your tone and use of technical/non-technical tone.
· Plan, prioritize and allocate workload for engineers

Education Degree
Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceRequired Experience
· Bachelor’s in computer engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required. (A degree in another Engineering discipline may be acceptable with proven software education and/or training and demonstrated software experience.)
· Full-stack development experience
· Minimum 5 to 7 years of C# experience
· 10 years experience in the design and implementation of software systems

Pay range for this opportunity is $104,680.00 - $140,920.50. This position is eligible for [BONUS PARTICIPATION] OR a [INSERT COMMISSION RATE RANGE, IF APPLICABLE] commission.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
