You will be owning the whole product business for our Core Platform, incl. Cloud Hyperscaler enablement, Frameworks, Data Plains and Core Platform Applications, Security and Operations aspects including the full responsibility of P&amp;L in your product management area. This role is responsible for business and products in an e2e manner. You will also implement modern architecture patterns and state of the art technologies (esp. in the area of open-source eco-systems, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solutions) in your growing organization to gain more attractiveness for Product Managers and software developers at a global scale.</p><p>You are an inspiring leader for your global team and your global peers, who shows both the technical and business acumen to rapidly grow your product and its corresponding business in a rapidly growing eco-system, esp. for developers. Your goal is to grow this platform business and provide the best-in-class platform stack for our global developer community.</p><p><br/>Your Team</p><p></p><p>Leads an organization directly of product managers made up of product management, project management, strategy, architecture, while closely interacting with customers. Leads the delivery indirectly within a two-in-a-box model.<br/><br/>What You Will Do</p><p></p><ul><li>Overall responsibility for the definition, creation and launch of your tech platform for HARMAN Automotive and the software products organization.</li><li>Create and maintain your product/platform portfolio aligning with the overall software products strategy and portfolio.</li><li>Strong Focus on standardization and developer enablement, automation and efficiency</li><li>Shape and maintain the platform offerings, scope and roadmaps.</li><li>Responsible for all aspects of the platform products, incl. launches and safeguard for operations. This requires working across all involved organizations (includes legal, procurement, marketing, HR, business development, and customer groups)</li><li>Ensures the team follows HARMAN and industry leading processes, standards, and procedures to deliver the products in time, in quality and in budget.</li><li>Leverages modern patterns of software engineering.</li></ul><p></p><p>What You Need</p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in SW engineering, computer science or related field</li><li>10+ years of industry-related experience (automotive OEMs or Major Tech Player with scalable platform business)</li><li>5+ years of experience in leading delivery and delivery of product roadmaps, architecture</li><li>7+ years of experience in working with Software teams</li><li>Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
