The Role:

The Full Stack Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across web, backend, and mobile platforms. This role is critical to ensuring an exceptional customer experience in our direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, and two-sided marketplace offerings. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership skills to mentor a high-performing team and drive impactful product delivery.

Technical Leadership:

• Architect and oversee solutions across frontend, backend, and mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide hands-on technical support, including coding when necessary, to resolve complex challenges.

Team Management & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Set clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, and create growth opportunities for team members.

Product & Platform Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical deliverables.

• Design systems to scale efficiently while optimizing for performance and security.
• Anticipate and plan for future technical challenges as the business grows.

• Partner with product, design, and other engineering leaders to align on goals and ensure seamless execution.

One Team One Dream: What We Need to Work Together:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 

Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in full stack engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with direct-to-consumer businesses, e-commerce platforms, or two-sided marketplaces.

Certifications:

• None required but relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Deep understanding of consumer behavior and platform dynamics in direct-to-consumer and marketplace industries.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience with subscription models, payment gateways, or logistics integrations.
• Familiarity with micro-services architecture and event-driven systems.
