As an Environmental Services Cleaner, you will strive to create a sanitary and safe environment that helps to enrich the facility’s appearance. Caregivers in this position will service and maintain cleanliness in patient areas, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges, therapy areas, and more. Your primary duties will include:

- Following policies and procedures on patient isolation.

- Stocking paper items and other supplies in patients' rooms as needed.

- Collecting all types of trash or needles and disposing of items in proper areas.

- Maintaining and storing cart and equipment in a clean, working condition.

Cleveland Clinic’s Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we’re looking to add an Environmental Services Area Cleaner to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. The Environmental Services Area Cleaner role is a steppingstone to other careers within Environmental Services and other departments within Cleveland Clinic. 

 

A caregiver in this position works days + on-call requirements, 12:30pm – 11:00pm.  

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Clean patient rooms, ancillary areas, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, public restrooms, discharge rooms and other assigned areas.
