Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Senior HR Generalist will plan, coordinate and execute across the company’s human resources, recruiting, and payroll functions ensuring a strong candidate and employee experience to current and prospective employees. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of HR and recruitment professionals, including hiring and training.
- Participate in employee relations, including handling grievances and conflicts, and implementing programs to promote a positive work culture.
- Contribute to employee benefits and compensation programs, including salary negotiations, employee bonuses, and employee recognition programs.
- Conduct job analysis, create job descriptions, and lead the recruitment and selection process for new hires.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement employee development and training programs.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity and diversity initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to maintain and develop company culture including the establishment and administration of employee wellness, engagement and retention programs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR and bring new ideas and approaches to the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Act as a mentor and support for other members of the HR team
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech savvy including Google and Microsoft productivity tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including equal opportunity and diversity initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR with strong decision making capabilities
- Experience partnering with both exempt and nonexempt employee populations at scale.
- Experience with HR systems and software, such as applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, and employee benefits platforms.
