Job Description
We are working with one of our premier clients, located in the San Francisco area, who is in need of a qualified Change Management Lead responsible for creating customized change management roadmaps based on the needs of the project and implement the change management activities for each phase of the project. The Change Management Lead will also be responsible for the delivery of large-scale analytics transformations, including new organizational people, process, and technology changes. The Consultant will partner with Program Sponsors, Champions, and Program Managers.
Project Length: 6-12 months
Location: Hybrid/San Francisco Bay Area
Compensation: This role will compensate between $90-$95/HR W2 depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers, ensuring consistency with established processes, consistency across projects and customer satisfaction
- Lead and participate in process improvement through stakeholder interviews and facilitated sessions to gather cross-functional issues and opportunities, recommending best practices as appropriate.
- Assessing and coordinating change management needs across different work streams of a program in partnership with the program champion, and sponsor.
- Developing and maintaining a holistic and integrated strategy for change across the group to best support internal customer needs and to support the business strategy
- Coordinating change plans and activities with other Program and Project Change Managers to ensure alignment with Enterprise change planning
- Engaging and coaching program team members on change management activities including; change strategy development, stakeholder analysis, communication and engagement planning, adoption and sustainment plans, and effectiveness measures to support project success
- Monitor and ensure the quality of projects’ change management activities and deliverables
- Partner with future state owner, program/project manager and project change manager to identify and develop sustainment plan, activities and additional sustainment requisites to successfully engage in the new way of work; solidly secure future state owner engagement with program/project
- Apply methods, tools, and processes for Change Management and Project Management
- Designing and facilitating engagements for decision making to drive towards alignment and effective end outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required; Preferably BA or BS in Business Management, Change Management, Communications or related field, PROSCI Certification a plus
- 10+ years of Organizational Change Management working with a structured Change Management Methodology, Communications, change communications, employee engagement, or employee experience required, skills negotiation and consensus-building facilitation
- Skilled in anticipate organizational changes that come with large-scale implementations and the change management and communications interventions which will be needed. Achieves this by coordinating with other initiatives to make sure there is a common understanding on timelines and other overlaps. Provide status reporting of progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and overall program health.
- Experience in enterprise-wide or functional level scope ERP, digital change, and design thinking is required
- Experience managing direct reports and cost-effective operation of all project tasks and collaborating with executive team to ensure effective coordination of change activities
- Experience with Lean, Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
- Ability to coach and effectively influencing leaders and Associates to choose to work in new ways and act as an internal or external consultant
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and develop coordinated stakeholder management, change management, and communications in support of adopting new ways of working and achieving differentiated business outcomes
- Designing and facilitating working sessions, workshops and/or other types of large engagements
- Creating systems to manage and continuously improve processes that enable strategic visibility across
