About the role
Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Pulmonology Section is seeking a qualified candidate to provide quality patient care at Texas Children's Hospital. The Pediatric Pulmonology Section is one of the largest in the country and is seeking a qualified candidate that can join our specialty care, in a variety of areas including pediatric rare lung diseases.
Professional Responsibilities include:
- Providing the highest standard of comprehensive clinical care to pediatric patients with pulmonary related problems, including rare lung disease and transplantation.
- Teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and the community about pulmonary related problems, including rare lung diseases.
- Scholarly activities will include research and publication in peer review journals.
- Fostering public awareness of diseases and disorders of the pulmonary/respiratory system, rare lung diseases and their causes.
- Promoting health and prevention of diseases of the pulmonary/respiratory system and rare lung diseases.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Education: M.D.
- Minimum Job Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Pediatric Pulmonology
- Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration: Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology
