About the role

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Develop, communicate, and train other associates to standard inventory procedures.
  • Coordinate, perform and analyze cycle counts.  Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, floor negatives, and reprocessing lists.  Provide and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Assist in various projects to investigate or resolve material control issues.
  • Develop new methods, processes, procedures to increase efficiencies of material flow and support implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Prepare and implement training plans for material flow improvement projects
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
  • Work as a Materials Team Leader for limited periods of time; i.e., to cover during absence.
  • Update warehouse views in the material master.
  • Process short term deviations from an inventory standpoint.
