About the role
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop, communicate, and train other associates to standard inventory procedures.
- Coordinate, perform and analyze cycle counts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, floor negatives, and reprocessing lists. Provide and implement corrective actions as required.
- Assist in various projects to investigate or resolve material control issues.
- Develop new methods, processes, procedures to increase efficiencies of material flow and support implementation of continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare and implement training plans for material flow improvement projects
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Work as a Materials Team Leader for limited periods of time; i.e., to cover during absence.
- Update warehouse views in the material master.
- Process short term deviations from an inventory standpoint.
