Help Desk Support Specialist (911HSS)

Position Summary

With minimal supervision, receive and resolve Help Desk requests from MECU personnel concerning problems with a variety of computer software and hardware. Uses expertise in customer service and technical knowledge to resolve issues surrounding installation, usage, and training on software and/or hardware products.

Work Location

This position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Baltimore. Incumbent will be required to report in office for this role. Upon completion of 90 days incumbent may work hybrid schedule.

Education

• High School Diploma – Required
• General Education Degree (GED) – in lieu of H.S. Diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Preferred

Certification & Licensures

• Computer related certification preferred but not required

Experience

• Computer/PC related, Required
• Minimum two (2) years of Computer/PC related, Preferred

Compensation

Salary Range per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• $20.28 – 29.42
