We are working with a client in need of a (3) qualified Technical Project Managers. The contractors will be responsible for driving client engagement with stakeholders, driving complex high priority projects, delivering project plans, managing key deliverables, and reporting on issues, risks, and status. The contractor will also lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company terms that are responsible for all aspects of the project, from initiation to closure.
Project Length: 6 months; Client Right to Hire
Location: On-Site- at any of the following locations: Alpharetta, GA; Berkeley Heights, NJ; Houston, TX
Job Description
- Drive client engagement with stakeholders across the organization
- Drive complex, high priority projects or component phases of larger programs
- Deliver project on time, within budget, and within scope
- Develop project plans, manage key deliverables, and report on issues, risks, and status
- Ensure custom development is delivered as required for the client
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure
- Effectively manage client expectations and delivers client-ready communications
- Make information-based decisions
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Manage many concurrent project deliverables, keeping client and internal partners on task
- Ability to motivate others and strong self-initiative
- Committed to be part of the team, and to support others in making the wider team a success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to effectively conduct meetings and presentations
- Ability to manage project deliverables and keep client and internal partners on task
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to be part of the team, and to support others in making the wider team a success
- Enthusiasm to motivate others
- Strong problem-solving skills; motivated self-learner
- Adaptable; proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
- Ability to mitigate risks to project delivery
- Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall
- PMP Certification (desirable)
- Certified ScrumMaster Certification (desirable)
