Are you tired of the frustrations related with Corporate HealthCare? We are a privately owned Family Medicine group seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We provide excellent patient care so it is important for us to have a team of hard working professionals who enjoy the satisfaction that comes from knowing you make a difference every day! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. We work 10-hour shifts, which allows us to enjoy an extra day off during the week.
Schedule: 10 hour shift; Day shift; No weekends
Experience: Hands On Medical Assisting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred); Certified Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical team
• Communicate with insurance companies for medication authorizations
• Escort patients to exam rooms, take accurate vitals and intake information
• Pediatric immunizations and adult injections
• Set up and assist in sterile and non-sterile procedures
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

​Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years previous experience as a medical assistant
• Fluent in medical terminology and standard pharmacology
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player, also able to work independently
