Position Overview: As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll be the technical expert driving safe and efficient electrical work for our residential solar projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring top-notch installation and compliance with all codes and standards. Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical work in a neat, compliant manner
Assemble and install components of residential solar systems
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues
Interface with branch leadership for compliance and training
Adhere to OSHA, NEC, AHJ, and Utility requirements
Collaborate with the crew to complete photovoltaic (PV) system installations
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process
Maintain accurate documentation and update job status in our database

Qualifications: Education & Certifications:

High School Graduate or GED
Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician or Wireman License

Experience:

Proven experience with main panel upgrades (MPU) and solar batteries (Tesla, Enphase, Span Panels, Solar Edge)
Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
Proficient with hand and power tools in the electrical trade

Skills:

Current and valid State Journeyman License/Electrician Certification
Clean driving record and ability to pass a driving background check
Ability to manage work timelines effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work safely
Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Knowledge of current NEC codes

Special Skills & Training:

Working knowledge of conduit bending (EMT)
Experience in replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
