Your Opportunity:

The Warehouse Associate reports to the Director of Operational Excellence or Logistics Supervisor. Event travel and attendance at staff meetings & trainings is required.

The Warehouse Associate is important member of our Varsity All Star team, ultimately responsible for performing various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. Tasks include box preparation, manage tape machine operation and flow, organizing stock, maintain inventory, picking orders with an RF Gun, and counting. May include driving an order picker or walking, pack, and ship orders. This individual must be detail oriented, able to meet the department's productivity metric without making errors. Must maintain a clean and organized work area, and utilize personal protective equipment as required for personal safety. Must be willing to help in other departments when needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Organize equipment and stock pre and post event to ensure items are placed where they need to be throughout the warehouse space
  • Maintain inventory in an organized and accurate manner
  • Follow checklists to ensure accuracy
  • Box preparation
  • Manage tape machine operation and flow
  • Pick and/or Pack orders with an RF Gun
  • Work closely with team members to assist as needs occur

Additional Job Functions:

  • Maintain mats for events, whether camps or competitions
  • Transportation of mats to events, whether camps or competitions

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of enter programs used to update music/presentations during events and any other required skillsets
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and attention to timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience of at least 3 years in events preferred.
  • Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • No direct supervisory responsibility in office. Oversees setup and production staff at events.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • This job operates in a professional office, warehouse, and event environment. Role will require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. Ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.
  • During events the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time (5 hours plus) is required. The ability to communicate with customers and colleagues using the following but not limited to radio, walkie talkie, text message and email is required. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and manipulate equipment that is a minimum of 30 lbs. is required.<
