About the Role
The Graduate Project Engineer supports engineering teams in designing, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions across projects. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience while applying academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. The Graduate Project Engineer works under the supervision of the Senior Engineering Project Manager and contributes to project planning, data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This job allows for opportunities to travel with the main flooring manufacturing sites being located in:
- Red Lion, PA
- Haibach, Germany
- Hull, UK
Acquisitions may further expand this network.
What You’ll Do
- Assist senior engineers with the design, development, and testing of systems, equipment, or infrastructure.
- Work on automation projects (experience not necessary but desire to learn required)
- Perform technical calculations, simulations, and data analysis to support project decisions.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation using relevant software (e.g., CAD tools, modelling software).
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving for technical issues.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, quality, manufacturing, and project management.
- Attend training, professional development programs, and work towards relevant certifications (where applicable).
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
Candidate requirements:
- You must be eligible to live and work permanently in USA
- You will need to have a degree and/or Masters in a relevant discipline i.e. Mechanical, electrical or industrial Engineering
- A good level of verbal and written English
