Since 1972, Therapeutic Health Services (THS) has provided evidence-based, culturally appropriate and compassionate behavioral health treatment, programs and services for children, youth, and families with substance use and mental health disorders. We are on the frontlines:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Recruiting Coordinator to join our Seattle team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our HR Business Partner to support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, ensuring every candidate and new hire has a seamless and welcoming experience.  


From writing compelling job postings and screening top talent to coordinating interviews and delivering an exceptional onboarding journey, you’ll play a key role in building strong teams and shaping our workforce culture.  This position is scheduled for three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay range is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage job postings with clear, engaging language across multiple platforms
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, check references, and coordinate next steps with hiring managers
  • Manage applicant flow and maintain data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Serve as a central point of contact for candidates and hiring teams, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Actively source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and community outreach
  • Support the planning and execution of recruitment events, both virtual and in-person
  • Lead onboarding coordination: schedule orientations, ensure system access, and collect required documentation
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide onboarding materials and support successful employee integration
  • Administer onboarding surveys and recommend process enhancements based on feedback
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives and perform other duties as needed

 What You Bring – Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 1 year of experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or talent acquisition support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a people-first approach
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities independently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

 Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on recruiting or HR experience
  • Experience with ATS platforms—Paylocity strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with HR compliance, employment law, and onboarding best practices
  • Experience using tools to collect and analyze employee or candidate feedback
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a strong plus
