Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean/wash work area, machines, containers, trailers, vehicles and/or equipment
- Paint equipment or buildings, as necessary
- Use power washer to clean equipment
- Use chemicals with proper PPE provided
- Assist with container maintenance, pick-up and delivery (as needed)
- Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
- Follow department and company procedures
- Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
- Other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the business. These responsibilities may change from time to time are business needs evolve over time.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Professional Certifications, Education, Experience and Travel Requirements
- Skill to operate, control, and monitor equipment
- Ability to work overtime and alternate schedule as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Local travel requirements; less than 5% overnight travel
Physical Demands/Requirements
Constantly (over 2/3):
- Operates and uses maintenance/mechanic tools including electrical hand tools
- Must be able to position self to maintain equipment or perform duties of repairing work equipment.
- Must be able to detect and observe equipment in need of repair
Frequently (1/3-2/3):
- Communicates with staff in the process or repairing equipment
- Move and transport material, equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. with and without specialized lifting, moving and rigging equipment
- Moves across wet/slippery and uneven surfaces
Occasionally (under 1/3):
- Exposed to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Remains in a seated position while using multilimbed coordination to operate equipment.
