Sr Business Analyst

Position Location: Carmel, IN, Eagan, MN or Little Rock, AR 

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Analyst to support our division leadership. The successful candidate will complete or lead a broad range of assignments aligned with MISO’s strategic direction, key initiatives, risk management, governance, and executive leadership support. This role involves performing research, distilling complex information into insightful analysis, and providing recommendations to business leaders based on program outcomes.

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will provide support to division leadership by completing or leading a broad range of assignments in MISO’s strategic direction, key strategic initiatives, risk management, governance, and executive leadership support. Perform research and distill highly complex information into insightful analysis and communications.    Advise and consult with business leaders on recommendations from analysis and program outcomes.

• Made connections with leadership in multiple areas to help drive transformation for the company 
• Integrating into high-value projects that result in improving MISO's path to maintaining our role as the most reliable, value-creating RTO
• Prepared and delivered key communications for various audiences from complex information

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field, or 4-6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree in business or economics (preferred).
• Experience with RTO/ISO, major utility, or regulatory state agency (strongly preferred).
• Experience in strategic planning, business development, risk management, or consulting with an energy industry focus (strongly preferred).
