Principal Database Site Reliability Developer

Join Oracle Health and AI’s Database Engineering team and help redefine the future of healthcare. Our team manages a global fleet of mission-critical business systems that power healthcare operations worldwide, while continuously modernizing and securing the databases and processes behind them.

In this role, you’ll contribute to every stage of the database lifecycle—deployment, upgrades, migrations, and beyond. You’ll design and build automation and integration solutions that improve how we manage our database fleet, enhance tooling, and maintain technical currency. You’ll also collaborate with experts across Oracle’s product ecosystem, working alongside some of the brightest minds in technology within a rapidly growing healthcare region.

What we’re looking for:

Deep expertise in hands-on Oracle Database lifecycle management, data management, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Strong development skills with PL/SQL, Shell, Python, and Terraform

Proven experience uplifting processes through code, automation, and integration

Familiarity with cloud technologies and large-scale database operations

Passion for building systems that directly impact healthcare outcomes
