Position Summary:
We are seeking a strong business and people leader to head the Milvexian Sales Strategy & Operations team, which will support the launch of Milvexian in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
The successful candidate will have a high level of exposure to senior sales and marketing leadership across our business unit and company and will be a key member of the Cardiovascular Sales Leadership Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Milvexian sales strategy and operations team that includes Associate Director(s), Managers of Regional Operations, and Regional Sales Coordinator, supporting cardiovascular and potential future businesses
Building out the structure for the new Milvexian salesforce and KAM organization, including territory mapping, headcount mapping, and logistical operations support.
Partner cross-functionally to oversee the delivery of key capabilities including but not limited to: IC, targeting & alignments, CRM, field reporting, call/business planning, field communications, coaching platform, expense, onboarding, fleet, awards, resource guides, budget, & promotional program management
Driving integration with cross-functional colleagues to ensure seamless alignment across the field sales, field medical, KAM, and marketing teams
Partnering effectively across the J&J Alliance to ensure BMS objectives are met and to ensure progress on key initiatives
Lead the planning and execution of key sales meetings including Product Launch Meetings, POAs, Fast Starts, etc
Drive succession planning, talent development, and talent retention. Take a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role modeling the BMS values.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
5-7 years of relevant commercial experience being highly successful across multiple roles, including direct reports (e.g. Sales Operations, Sales Leadership (DBM/RBD), Field Force Effectiveness, Sales Training, Market Access, Marketing) with preference for significant experience in working in/with a field force
Experience leading teams with several direct reports with a focus on strong people development
Ability to think and communicate strategically
Ability to lead within a large matrix organization and influence strategic and tactical decisions
Well documented examples of strong leadership, strong compliant execution, and a winning mindset
Demonstrated ability to deliver on sales objectives with a track record of strong sales performance
Experience working in an Alliance preferred (but not necessary)
Experience with Cardiology customer base and market industry knowledge preferred (but not necessary)

Compensation Overview:
Field - United States - US: $198,140 - $240,093The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
