Today, we are excited to be posting for a Director, Finance for our Nutrition Group, including support for our Commercial and Innovation teams.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Analyze and evaluate Nutrition investments, including direct marketing investment allocation strategy, brand contribution analysis, innovation value chains, Investment ROI, and ad hoc projects.

  • Collect input, model, and provide insights for financial analysis (value chain analysis, financial modeling, opportunity assessment, return on investment analysis, cash flow analysis and other financial tools) to develop recommendations to business leads and strategy assessments to support decision making.

  • Coordinate and support annual business planning, system economics, insights, performance management, business integration, profit & loss validation, emerging business, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Consolidation of financial analyses to have a complete view of the Nutrition P&L and the Annual Business Plan. Partner with Supply Chain Finance to review and have an in depth understanding of COGS components by package and changes to COGS and the Financial Forecast.

  • Analysis of business results and recommending forward actions to close gaps to plan or accelerate the business results.

  • Forecasting and business analytics leadership of volume and revenue forecast while ensuring a high level of forecast accuracy is delivered.

  • Communicate and interpret findings across brand, category and consumer based on financial analysis that provides additional perspectives on implications, risk, opportunity, and trends.

  • Build value-based relationships with brand, customer, commercial, revenue growth management, franchise, supply chain, legal and other key associates.

  • Ensure Leadership and Marketing Teams understand profitability of business (by SKU/Package) to drive profit generating initiatives.

  • Partner with Platform Services for the deployment and advancement of System Economic tools.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field, with a Master’s preferred.

  • 5+ years in finance, business planning, and/or forecasting is needed.

  • Experience synthesizing large, complex data sets from various sources and building machine learning models, data science methods, and analytics is needed.

  • Experience preferred with designing, modeling, and deploying multi-dimensional systems (e.g., Anaplan, Cognos, Tableau, Hyperion, Business Objects, TM1, etc.).

  • Experience leveraging skills in project management; change management; process development/improvement; and strong negotiation and collaboration is needed.

  • Must possess exceptional communication skills (story telling) evidenced by good verbal/written presentation ability.
