<p><strong>Hello!</strong> 👋🏽</p><p><br/>At Factorial, we're looking for a <strong>Senior/Staff Software Engineer</strong> to join our <strong>API & Marketplace</strong> Team within the Platform Domain.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Engineering team at large</strong></p><p>At Factorial, you'll be part of a team of 150+ product engineers. <strong>We look for talented people who are curious, proactive, and have great communication skills.</strong> People who are at the forefront of developing tools that help teams become the best versions of themselves.</p><p>You'll work in a multicultural, English-speaking environment where your technical acumen, creative problem-solving abilities, and passion for user-centric products will directly contribute to our mission of improving HR processes for SMEs worldwide. It’s your choice to work from home, in our Barcelona offices, or mixing both.</p><p></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>Our stack is mainly <strong>Ruby on Rails</strong> and <strong>React. </strong>We don’t look to match the stack. On the contrary, the experience with multiple languages and frameworks that brings perspective and a set of tools in the toolbelt. Besides, we are continuously evolving the ecosystem of engineering, adopting new architectures and paradigms, and evolving current ones. You are expected to contribute to the next software architecture stage at Factorial.</p><p></p><p>This role is in a <strong>Platform team.</strong> This means you will be doing product twice, addressing not only user needs, but also designing the best tools for both internal and external developers. <strong>You will be building not only integrations, but also facilitating developer partners to have the best possible experience building their own.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Work ethics</strong></p><p>At Factorial, we know that building a great product means building a great team.
