Summer 2025 Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Assist in the development and implementation of clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions using computer and specially designed software.

Responsibilities:

-Perform time studies and analyze work cells for efficiency.
-Develop and update Manufacturing Work Instructions to promote optimal manufacturability.
-Develop 2-D and 3-D drawings and models to support our CAM -Integration, and to support existing products.
-Categorize and organize tooling throughout the manufacturing plant.
-Assist in drafting department Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
-Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment and see how Toshiba engineers work together to deliver success.
-Develop your skills under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology program
• Must have completed 3D modeling class (Pro-Engineer or Solid Works)
