Our Company is growing and as a result we are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, customer service focused accounting professional to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment. The Corporate Accounting Manager will have a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley. The role will include working in several areas of corporate accounting, financial reporting, and finance support.  The position will be responsible for tasks ranging from journal entries and reconciliation review, management of accounting programs, commissions, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, intercompany eliminations, and corporate consolidation to analysis during the monthly general ledger close.  Additionally, this position will interact monthly with the Financial Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis team to analyze financial results and provide explanations and support for business activity. This position reports directly to the Corporate Assistant Controller located in the US.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Lead and participate in special projects like process improvements, digital transformation, and system implementations. Manage or assist in new accounting policies and procedures, identify opportunities for business process improvements, and help develop and implement new procedures, including system integrations.

  • Assist in the management of day-to-day, month-end close, and year-end close accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.

  • Assist monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to ensure financial results accurately reflect business activity and are in accordance with US GAAP.

  • Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly reporting packages.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including finance, operations, internal audit, and others to support business objectives and initiatives.

  • Maintain and enhance the Company’s system of internal controls related to accounting processes and systems. Ensure SOX and policy compliance.

  • Support quarterly review and annual audit requests and inquiries from our external auditors

  • Lead Ad hoc projects and requests, as needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • 5+ years of combined public accounting and private industry at a publicly traded company with international footprint

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience  

  • CPA or CPA candidate a plus

  • Solid working knowledge and application of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX/internal controls

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organization skills

  • Ability to execute, follow-up, and ensure attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills

  • A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, without sacrificing accuracy

  • Strong systems knowledge, including the ability to quickly learn new systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft office Suite, Tableau, and other analytical tools such as Knime, Power BI, etc.

  • Experience with NetSuite preferred
