Responsibilities
As Senior Facilities Manager with Hines, you will oversee the strategy and daily service delivery for your assigned sites, including, take ownership of the facilities operations scope of work, oversee the building and equipment are properly working and fully functional, and provide response and coordination of resolution for specific requests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operations management
- Oversee all site-based service delivery activities and operations.
- Collect and analyze operational data to provide accurate reporting and insights for services, work order productivity, cost savings, and improvements for assigned sites.
- Develop, manage, and monitor budget for assigned site.
- Oversee facilities inspections.
- Prepare site specific and aggregated reports.
- Manage projects, complex requests, and multi-trade work orders.
- Ensure work requests are recorded, processed correctly, and resolved within defined service levels.
Vendor management and invoice processing
- Manage vendor relationships and train vendors on service standards, work order procedures, and financial procedures.
- Oversee Warranty Service Requests and ensure completion of work for assigned sites.
- Oversee vendors providing services and supplies in assigned service areas.
- Schedule vendor work for leased/non leased equipment.
Team leadership
- Provide daily direction to assigned Facilities Management staff, and ensure proper response to work requests.
- Develop and maintain ethical and courteous relations with clients, occupants, landlords, and service partners.
- Oversee monthly staffing coverage and work shift schedules.
- Supervise and oversee personnel activities for all assigned personnel.
- Ensure all program staff meet training requirements.
- Promote a culture of diversity and inclusivity for all team members.
Client relationship management
- Meet regularly with client partner to provide routine updates, resolve issues, and solicit feedback.
- Interpret client needs and strategically identify new value-add services and opportunities.
- Adhere to customer and internal reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience required
- Ten or more years of facilities management experience required
- Experience mentoring others, building, leading, and mentoring teams.
- Experience acting as the highest-level relationship owner to a client, preferred
- Strong, people first leader; Inclusive, respectful, approachable and team oriented
- Ability to meet and inspire others to achieve a standard of excellence with our work processes and outcomes while honoring Hines' Standards, client policies, and all regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate impeccable judgement

- Financial management
- Certified Facility Manager or similar credential preferred
- Strict adherence to non-disclosure agreements and a high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to comply with client health and safety protocols
- Ability to manually lift 30 lbs
- Ability to climb up and down stairs, access restrictive openings, and perform emergency procedures
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect buildings and detect emergency alarms
- Be flexible and available to meet during various time zones in support of the client’s portfolio and address after-hours situations as necessary
