Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of FLAIR experience.
- Two (2) years of reconciliation experience.
- One (1) year of Financial Reporting experience with State of Florida.
Preferences:
- Experience with deposits of account receivable.
- Experience with preparing & posting journal transfers from other state agencies for revenue payments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is in the Occupational Group of Accountants and Auditors located in the Division of Administrative Services/Bureau of Planning, Budget & Financial Services that reports directly to the Financial Administrator in the Revenue Management Unit and is responsible for reconciliations, financial reporting and other duties as indicated below.
FLAIR to Comptroller's records; FLAIR to State Treasury records; Travel and Incidental Expense Revolving Fund.
This includes conducting research of financial records and transactions to determine that each account is balanced.
Assists with the preparation of the HAVA Interest Apportionment Cash Balance report monthly, and assists with the preparation and distribution of cash balance reports to each Division monthly.
This position is responsible for preparing information to submit to the Collection Agency. This involves working with the Division of Corporations, Elections and the Library to gather back up required to prepare the request for submission to the Department of Financial Services for forwarding to the collection agency. Prepares General Revenue Service Charge monthly. Prepares write-off and the Annual Debt Collection Report.
Assists with the reconciliation of the Division of Corporations System to FLAIR monthly.
Annual Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards-Usually in September each year.
Participates in the preparation of year-end financial statements for the Department annually.
Assists with the development and updates to accounting policies and procedures as needed.
Performs other work related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices & procedures.
Knowledge of financial principles.
Ability to prepare financial statements & records, ability to formulate policies & procedures.
