About the role
The IOR Supply and Trading Team is responsible for the buying, hedging and trading of fuel that arrives from our global partners into our fuel terminals. You will be a part of a small but highly influential team that manages daily pricing, maximising return on assets as well as being a knowledge hub on market economics for the wider IOR Team.
As an Analyst in the Supply and Trading division, you will be responsible for analysing market conditions to identify opportunities, driving customer satisfaction through exceptional service, and contributing to the growth of the customer base.
The Supply and Trading Team will provide you with training, mentoring and development opportunities that will set you up for success in a high performing team environment.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing detailed performance analysis of Supply and Trading’s sales, pricing, sales forecasting & market trends.
- Building meaningful relationships with internal and external key stakeholders through excellent communication, on time delivery of quality work and engaging presentation skills.
- Identifying and onboarding new customers for our terminals at Lytton and Port Bonython.
- Assisting with the preparation of sales proposals and tenders.
- Developing an in depth understanding of the customer base in our target areas
About you
- High achieving individual with Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, business or similar
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Driven to achieve exceptional results
- Eager to be a crucial part of a high-performing team
- Industry experience in commodity trading, finance or supply chain advantageous but not essential
