Job Duties:

Plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Manage all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator). Oversee construction project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results. Maintain detailed/hands-on knowledge of construction project scope. Complete/oversee cost control, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports. Act as key point of contact with owner and architect. Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work team. Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects. Mentor, develop and train project engineers for fast-paced growth.  Support timely and accurate spending forecasts, pay applications review, explanation and back up resolution as applicable.  Responsible for knowledge of all contract documents (drawings, specs), Trade Scopes of work, and OFE Vendor SOWs/CDDs and identify potential scope gaps. Proficiency of quality program as it relates to trades (ATL/Checklists/Pre-Eng/RTFT, etc.) and support Quality/Cx team in enforcement. Track and Review costs and change language through issues module of CMIC to completion. 

Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a commercial construction execution-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 4 years of experience in each of the following skills:

Supervise the project activities of the on-site project engineer, field superintendents and office manager. Lead weekly progress meeting to identify high risk and critical procurement items. Manage subcontractor safety, schedule and coordination meetings. Review and approve subcontractor monthly invoices and billings through textura. Facilitate pay application walkthrough with owner, equity partners and bank. Develop Safety Risk Assessment Matrix with the Safety Manager, Superintendent and PE. Identify high risk activities for review with Owner’s Safety Representative. Manage safety observations, inspections and incidents through Procore. Issue Request for Quotations through Procore for Change Orders. Review and approve subcontractor change orders. Lead Preconstructions efforts in the bidding stage. Develop initial ROMs based on subcontractor inputs and historical data in Winest. Analyze risks pertaining to budget and schedule. Develop project schedule and track weekly progress in Primavera. Implement Last Planner for short interval planning. Utilize Procore for Rolling Completion lists. Recognize activities which may impede project progress, safety, quality, profit or jeopardize compliance with project/contract requirements.  Prepare and submit related informational documents to the client or other responsible parties and implement corrective measures. Maintain strict control of the project budget for each work activity. Perform monthly cost projections for direct and indirect costs and manage cashflow. Lead scope reviewing meetings and negotiate subcontracts and trade partner agreements with the subcontractors during buyout phase. Write scope of work and issue subcontracts through Procore. Hold BIM Coordination meetings with trade partners and VDC team. Identify and track issues/clashes in REVIT and Revizto.
