Job Description

Campbellsville University is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual for the Graduate Assistant for Men’s Soccer position.

This position offers the opportunity to be part of a competitive NAIA program while pursuing a graduate degree at a faith-based institution. The Graduate Assistant will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, on-field coaching, administrative duties, and team operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coaching & Player Development:

  • Assist with planning and conducting training sessions.

  • Support individual player development through technical and tactical instruction.

  • Aid in game-day preparation, film analysis, and opponent scouting.

  • Assist with strength and conditioning oversight and monitoring of athlete wellness.

Recruitment:

  • Identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes domestically and internationally.

  • Communicate with recruits, families, and club/high school coaches in alignment with NAIA and university policies.

  • Assist in organizing campus visits and maintaining the recruiting database.

Travel & Driving:

  • Serve as a driver for team travel using university-approved vehicles.

  • Assist with logistical planning for away games, including meals, hotels, and transportation.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Help manage and maintain team equipment and gear inventory.

  • Support compliance with NAIA, Mid-South Conference, and Campbellsville University rules and regulations.

  • Contribute to team social media and promotional content creation.

  • Assist with fundraising efforts, alumni relations, and camps/clinics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; must be accepted and actively enrolled in a Campbellsville University graduate program.

  • Strong knowledge of soccer with competitive playing and/or coaching experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
