SRO Instructor

South Texas Project

Contract 10 months

You will report onsite to the South Texas Project nuclear facility in Wadsworth, Texas.

You will report to the Training Manager.

Reactor Operator Instructors are responsible for providing comprehensive training to reactor operators and ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and standards

Your Day-to-Day:

• Revise and deliver classroom lesson plans that meet all current site training requirements.
• Deliver simulator lesson plans that meet all current site training requirements.
• Develop or revise required evaluation materials throughout the program, this may consist of written exam questions, JPMs, and simulator scenarios.
• Help administer evaluations per the LOIT schedule.
• You will conduct student reviews and follow up meeting to meet LOOT program requirements in supporting the monitoring of candidate performance.
• Respond to any instructor feedback received from management observations conducted on sessions they supported.

Who You Are:

Who You Are:

• Degree in Engineering or Sciences (Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, Nuclear, Physics, or similar) OR experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of experience as an operations Instructor or similar role
• Power plants or industrial facilities
• Organization, team leader, customer orientation and progress
• You will pass the nuclear background, medical and fitness for duty to include a pre-employment drug screen.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $100/hour to $103/hour.
