Aseptic Pharmacy Technician

When will you work:
- Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm
What you’ll do:
- Sterilize all bulk sterile products using autoclave sterilization and/or filtration sterilization according to company policies and procedures
- Package all bulk sterile products into final containers using good aseptic technique
- Learn and adhere to good aseptic practices according to company policies and procedures when working in the cleanroom complex
- Maintain all systems for production, quality control, and documentation of sterile products
- Identify and recommend improvements to sterile product formulations in order to increase packaging efficiency and consistency while maintaining the highest level of quality
- Implement and maintain systems for training new compounding staff in proper aseptic technique, sterilization procedures, and aseptic packaging
- Assist other compounding team members in meeting production demands, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- May be required to work with Controlled Dangerous Substances
- Required to work with Hazardous Drugs and Chemotherapeutic Medications
- Learn and adhere to SOP's for cleaning the clean room complex and compounding lab. Required to clean weekly or more as is necessary.
Who you are:
- Pays strict attention to detail, understands the importance of accuracy and precision
- Able to stand for long periods of time and follow basic safety precautions
What you’ve done:
- Obtained High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Previous experience in compounding or a sterile environment
- Obtained CA Pharmacy Technician license
